Disc Polishing Service. Choose how many discs you want to have polished from the drop-down box above then add to your cart. You must then send the discs in a padded envelope (or ideally a small box), with sufficient padding to protect the discs in transit. You may want to use an old DVD case or similar. I don’t recommend sending original boxes as there is a risk they can be damaged in transit.
Once your disc(s) have been repaired, they will be returned to the shipping address you enter at the online checkout. The service aims to polish and turnaround your discs on the same day, and will then be returned on a tracked 48-hour service from Royal Mail.
Any CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or game disc can be polished at Retro Sect, This disc polishing service is for up to 2 “passes” per disc. If your disc is very damaged it may require further passes to make it useable again.
Please note: Due to the nature of disc-based media, this service is not a guarantee that your disc will play once polished, but I have managed to save some truly awful-looking discs. If I deem your disc to not be rescuable, I will let you know via email and return the items and refund the charge. Unfortunately I cannot refund the delivery cost.
