The Mega Drive (or Genesis if you’re not from round ‘ere), was the saviour of Sega both in the US and European markets, and despite it fairing poorly against Nintendo on their home turf sold over 30 million units worldwide.  It’s home to some stonewall classics and was the first ever home gaming machine for millions across the UK.
